The Defense Intelligence Agency PMO (DIA), Certified Defense All-Source Analysis - I (CDASA-I) is an intermediate level credential designed as part of an effort to professionalize the military and civilian Defense Department intelligence workforce. CDASA-1s must demonstrate knowledge and ability in All-Source Analysis skills and maintain their analytic abilities through continuing education. These skills ensure an integrated, agile intelligence force that can support departmental requirements in an ever-changing environment. Candidates must pass a written exam.

Experience REQUIREMENTS
To earn the CDASA-I candidates must satisfy one of the following experience categories:
Option 1:
Perform Analysis
1. At least 24 months of experience in DoD performing all-source analysis functions 51% of the time as part of official duties within the last 5 years, OR
2. At least 72 months of IC experience performing all-source analysis functions 51% of the time as part of official duties; AND at least 12 months of DoD experience performing all-source analysis functions 51% of the time as part of official duties within the last 5 years.
Option 2:
Lead Analysis
1. At least 24 months of experience in DoD leading or guiding individuals performing all-source analysis functions 51% of the time as part of official duties within the last 5 years, AND
2. At least 24 months of experience in DoD performing all-source analysis functions 51% of the time as part of official duties at any time in the candidate’s career.
Option 3:
Enable Analysis
1. At least 24 months of experience in DoD, enabling the all source analysis process 51% of the time as part of your official duties, AND
2. At least 24 months of experience in DoD performing all-source analysis functions 51% of the time as part of official duties at any time in the candidate’s career.
* Do not count months in which more than 51% of the time was spent doing functions other than those above (ie. training, leave)

The Certified Defense All-Source Analysis - Level 1 (CDASA-1) credential has the following other requirements:
- Candidates must agree to adhere to the Principles of Intelligence Ethics.

Exam Administration
Credential exams may be administered in-person at a testing site, proctored on-line remotely, or have options for both. If an exam is administered through a test vendor, the third-party test vendor box will be checked. Additional considerations for the Certified Defense All-Source Analysis - Level 1 (CDASA-1) include:
- Only DoD Civilian, Military, or Coast Guard members are eligible to earn the CDASA-I credential. Contractors are not eligible to participate.
- All candidates must have an AGILE account on JWICS to participate in the program.
