The North American Technician Excellence (NATE), Air Distribution Specialty (Service) certification is for top level service technicians who work on Heating Ventilation Air Conditioning (HVAC) systems of 12,000 CFM or less airflow. Candidates must demonstrate knowledge of the installation, service, maintenance, and repair of HVAC systems. Candidates must meet experience requirements. Candidates must pass both a core and a specialty exam.
