ISC2 Updates Annual Maintenance Fee Scheme
ISC2 is updating their Annual Maintenance Fee (AMF) scheme and now require fees to be paid at the beginning of the cycle year instead of the end of the cycle year. All ISC2 certifications holders are expected to align their AMF cycle by June 30, 2019. To assist all eligible ISC2 certification holders Navy COOL will fund the alignment AMF as well as the current AMF if due.
“Simplified AMF Schedule – We are aligning with industry and financial best practices, as well as eliminating confusion among some members by no longer billing in arrears (for the previous year’s membership). AMFs will be due at the start of your membership cycle each year. To remain in Good Standing, all members are required to ensure their accounts align with the new payment policy by June 30, 2019.
To remain in Good Standing, all (ISC)² members and associates are required to ensure their accounts align with the new Certification and Membership Maintenance Policy by June 30, 2019. AMFs are increasing to U.S. $125 for certified members and U.S. $50 for associates. Members have until June 30, 2019 to pay any outstanding AMFs and the option to pay ahead for the remainder of their three-year membership cycle at the current rate for their certification(s)."
For additional AMF policy info visit the ISC2 website.
Navy COOL will determine funding based on the member's cycle as follows for the updated (ISC)² Annual Membership Policy and Fee Changes:
- If fees were paid after 01 July 2018, and before 24 January 2019:
- the following fees are due prior to 01 July 2019 = $85
- If fees are due between 24 January 2019 and 01 July 2019:
- the following fees are due = $170
- If all fees are paid up through 01 July 2019:
- the following fees are due immediately after 01 July 2019 = $125
You will need to provide screenshots of your ISC2 account showing the fees that are due when submitting Voucher Requests to Navy COOL.
