Physical/Chemical Industrial Waste Operators - Class I have skills and knowledge in treatment processes, laboratory analysis, operating support equipment, evaluating and maintaining support equipment, administrative duties, and safety and emergency preparedness. Candidates must pass an exam. Education REQUIREMENTS
Candidate must hold a High School Diploma, GED, or its equivalent. Candidate may substitute one year of experience for one year of high school education without limit.
Experience REQUIREMENTS
Candidate must have one year of acceptable experience. No substitution of education for experience is allowed for Class I Operators.
Other REQUIREMENTS
The Physical/Chemical Industrial Waste Operator - Class I credential has the following other requirements:
- Candidate must submit a letter from a supervisor or Human Resources department which provides the candidate's job title, description of job duties, and dates of employment in the position.
