RECERTIFICATION

Oracle Certified Professional, Solaris 11 System Administrator

Renewal Period: Not Renewable

The Oracle Certified Professional, Solaris 11 System Administrator credential has the following recertification information:

  • Certification credentials will be CURRENT or RETIRED according to their version (e.g 9i, 10g, 11g, 12c etc.). Candidates who hold an Oracle Certified Database Administrator Associate, Professional, Expert and/or Master credential on a RETIRED version have 12 months to to earn a credential on a CURRENT (non-retired) version of Oracle Database to remain in ACTIVE status.

For certifications NOT subject to the Recertification Policy, Oracle strongly recommends that a certification is kept current with the current version released. However, it is not required to upgrade when a new version is released. As subsequent versions of a certification continue to be released, older certifications will become less relevant, and any training to help prepare for upgrade exams may become obsolete.
  • Note: Marine Corps COOL will only pay recertification fees for the current year, no arrears will be paid. Voucher requests for recertification fees must be submitted with proof of the current status of the certification (for example, a screen shot of your credentialing agency dashboard or a copy of a current fee receipt).
