The Global Information Assurance Certification (GIAC), GIAC Mobile Device Security Analyst (GMOB) is an intermediate level certification for security personnel who protect systems and networks and secure mobile devices that are accessing vital information. GMOB certification holders have demonstrated knowledge about assessing and managing mobile device and application security, as well as mitigating against malware and stolen devices. There are no formal education or experience requirements associated with this certification. Training is available but not required. Candidates must pass a written examination.
