The Iplor International, Electronic Document Professional (EDP) is an industry designation awarded to qualified individuals who have demonstrated broad knowledge of and experience in digital communication-whether in print, over internal networks, or online-from document creation to distribution. EDP certification ensures that the recipient has demonstrated excellence by a thorough examination of his or her work, business ethics, and overall contributions to the industry through a rigorous evaluation process. Candidates must submit a portfolio to be evaluated for various skills and roles throughout the document application lifecycle.

Experience REQUIREMENTS
Candidate must be currently working, with a minimum of five years active work experience, in the industry.
Training REQUIREMENTS
Candidate must have earned the equivalent of 100 education credits.
Other REQUIREMENTS
The Electronic Document Professional (EDP) credential has the following other requirements:
- Candidate must submit a portfolio of actual business examples that demonstrate and document his or her capabilities.
- Candidate must accept the EDP Code of Ethics.
Performance Exam Requirements
Candidate must submit a portfolio of work examples, that illustrate a mastery of specific industry skills. Candidate must demonstrate a range of skills across various components of the document journey from creation to distribution. Work examples must apply to electronic document technologies and at least two of the three work examples must be less than five years old.
