In-Plant Printing and Mailing Association (IPMA), Certified Mail Manager (CMM) is for managers who have attained a high level of competence and professionalism. Candidates must have a minimum of five years of mail management experience and be currently employed in an in-plant environment. Candidates must also be able to demonstrate, through three letters of recommendation, acceptable character, ability and reputation. Candidates must pass a written exam.

Experience REQUIREMENTS
Candidate must have a minimum of five years of mail management experience and be currently employed in an in-plant environment. The five years need not be consecutive, but must be of a managerial nature.
Other REQUIREMENTS
The Certified Mail Manager (CMM) credential has the following other requirements:

Candidate must submit three letters of recommendation that demonstrate acceptable character, ability, and reputation.
- Candidate who is not a member of IPMA must provide written employer documentation verifying the candidate's position in in-house mail management.

Candidate must pledge to adhere to the CMM Code of Ethics included in the CMM Brochure.
