The Association of People Supporting Employment (APSE), Certified Employment Support Professional (CESP) credential recognizes individuals who have demonstrated a sufficient level of knowledge and skill to provide integrated employment support services to individuals with disabilities. Individuals will have demonstrated the knowledge, skills and abilities necessary to help establish and expand equitable integrated employment opportunities for individuals with disabilities. Candidates must meet education and experience requirements. Candidates must pass a written exam.

Education REQUIREMENTS
Candidate must have a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
Experience REQUIREMENTS
Candidate must have one year of employment support professional (ESP) work experience, which may include up to a maximum of three months of internship or practicum time.
Candidate must have nine months of ESP experience with training component.

The Certified Employment Support Professional (CESP) credential has the following other requirements:
