The National Contract Management Association (NCMA), Certified Commercial Contract Manager (CCCM) certification is for contracting professionals who have education, training, and knowledge of the Uniform Commercial Code, and a minimum of 1 year of experience. Applicants must have a bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited institution and 80 hours of continuing professional education (CPE). Non-degreed applicants with 10 years of experience may apply for a degree waiver. Applicants must pass a written exam.

RECERTIFICATION

Certified Commercial Contracts Manager (CCCM)

Renewal Period: 5 years

The Certified Commercial Contracts Manager (CCCM) credential has the following recertification information:

  • CCCM recertification is required every five years. CCCM certification holders must earn 60 hours of continuing professional education (CPE) during the five year period. A recertification application form must be completed and submitted with documentation supporting the completion of 60 hours of CPE and a recertification processing fee must be paid.

  • Note: Marine Corps COOL will only pay recertification fees for the current year, no arrears will be paid. Voucher requests for recertification fees must be submitted with proof of the current status of the certification (for example, a screen shot of your credentialing agency dashboard or a copy of a current fee receipt).

Current Coast Guard policy states all credentials listed on CG COOL may be reimbursed assuming the enlisted service member meets the eligibility requirements as outlined in the Coast Guard Voluntary Credentialing Program Policy (COMDTINST 1540.1(series))
