The Emergency Vehicle Technician (EVT) Certification Commission, Inc., Ambulance Technician Master Level III certification is an advance-level certification that recognizes technicians who work only on ambulances. Ambulance technicians are knowledgeable and skilled in design and performance standards, the specialized systems and equipment, and the accepted practices used in the service and maintenance of ambulances. Candidates must have met the requirements of Ambulance Technician Level I and II. Candidates must pass an EVT written exam and three National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) written exams.
