Marine Corps Tuition Assistance Program

Tuition Assistance

The Marine Corps Tuition Assistance (TA) Program provides financial assistance for voluntary off-duty education programs in support of a Marine's professional and personal development goals.

Marines can receive a maximum of $4,500 per fiscal year for 100 percent of tuition costs, or up to $250 per semester hour, whichever is less. This rate is based on the uniform tuition assistance policy the Department of Defense implemented across the military services in October 1998. TA is discretionary. An Education Service Officer (ESO) and education support personnel are available at all installations to assist Marines in developing personal and professional education plans and to make informed academic institution selections that support their educational goals. Reference MARADMIN 456/13 for current TA guidelines.
